In Part II of Tim's Tractors story, we learn more about vintage and working tractors at Trattore Farms. It's another fun and fascinating snippet into the journey of how Trattore came to be (from a tractor's point of view;-).
In this episode, Tim will take you back to when he first purchased the property, along with what historical buildings existed (an old barn from the 1800s and a cistern that provided water from a local spring) and more about our olive mill. We hope you enjoy Tim's story on some of the history of Trattore Farms.
Labor Day pays tribute to the contributions and achievements of American workers. We are so appreciative of this day. How fitting that at sunrise on this Labor Day, Trattore will harvest its estate Viognier grapes, and what a beautiful harvest it is. Thank you to our vineyard and winemaking crew! We hope you enjoy all that goes into the vine to wine cycle. White winemaking is a bit different than the red grape harvest from episode 21. Tune in!
In our 21st episode of Tim Talks, we journey through the vineyards and into the cellar as we pick Pinot Noir from Lee Martinelli's Laughlin Ranch Vineyard in Russian River Valley. Watch this video to the end, and Tim will share a special library wine offer valid through Labor Day, 2021. Enjoy!
In our 20th episode of Tim Talks, and as we approach harvest, we thought it fitting to share the history of Trattore with you! Enjoy this special episode as Tim takes you back in time to talk about his journey to building this farm and winery.
Tune in this week with Tim and Craig as they talk about veraison at Trattore Vineyards - the transition from berry growth to berry ripening, and many changes in berry development occur at veraison. It's pre-harvest preparation time, the calm before the busy period of grape picking, and long hours in the cellar.
Tune in as we release a new Rhône Red Wine called GRATITUDE at our first 2021 club event. This wine pays tribute to the farmers, winemakers, and industry workers for their perseverance amid the wine community's struggles in recent years. From all of us, Trattore Farms, we thank you for your ongoing support. We are donating a portion of the proceeds to the restaurant industry and local firefighters. We can't thank you enough!
In this episode, we introduce our new team lead, talk about Trattore events coming back this year, opening our doors for tastings inside and Get Your Boots Dirty Tours.
Tune in as Tim shares his latest construction project on the ranch!
