As the grape harvest wraps up, the olive harvest begins. We are in full swing harvesting and milling olives at Trattore Farms. Tune in as Tim explains how we harvest olives and mill them onsite.
For more than a decade, Tim and Mary Louise have brought locals together for community milling days! Whether folks bring in five pounds on up to 500 pounds, the olives are weighed, combined, and milled. The percentage of olives contributed is equal to the amount one goes home with, not to mention the wide variety of olives brought in that make the community milling blends so special!
In Part II of Tim's Tractors story, we learn more about vintage and working tractors at Trattore Farms. It's another fun and fascinating snippet into the journey of how Trattore came to be (from a tractor's point of view;-).

Labor Day pays tribute to the contributions and achievements of American workers. We are so appreciative of this day. How fitting that at sunrise on this Labor Day, Trattore will harvest its estate Viognier grapes, and what a beautiful harvest it is. Thank you to our vineyard and winemaking crew!
