Olive trees line the grounds of California's Missions. Brought to the state from Spain, the California Mission olive is now only native to California. Known to exhibit dramatic differences in its flavor profile throughout the harvest season, this Mission olive blend exhibits a mid-season balance of fruitiness and mild pepper. To temper the natural bitterness, it was blended with Spanish Manzanilla olives for a rich, but extremely versatile medium boldness. An intense fruitiness of green olives, artichoke and white pepper will enhance all of your favorite foods!
Usage Notes: Drizzle on everything from roasted meats to fresh vegetables for a peppery, rich addition! This oil is medium in flavor, but bold enough to be used with almost any dish. Pair with a rich balsamic for a delicious dressing, or rosemary and red wine for a delicious marinade.
